for using marijuana in the last month was 11. This compares to 48% of adult
females who reported marijuana use in the last year. There were an average of
about 250 juvenile drug arrests in Tulsa over each of the last three years.
With methamphetamine having been a major problem in throughout the
city of Tulsa and state of Oklahoma in recent years, there were 27 children
found at meth lab sites in Tulsa during the first 100 days of 2003 that were
taken into custoday. Oklahoma has since reduced the number of meth labs busted
by limiting availability of ephedrine-based products in the state.
