The Colorado Drug-Free Workplace Alliance is a non-profit
association of businesses concerned about the impact of drugs and alcohol in
the workplace. These businesses have joined together to make local workplaces
safe and drug-free, to improve productivity, and enhance the health of local
employees.
As of September 21, 2006, there were 17 drug courts in existence
or being planned in Colorado. Seven drug courts had been operating for more
than 2 years, 3 were recently implemented, and another 7 were being planned at
that time.

population of the Colorado Department of Corrections (DOC) on June 30, 2006 was
22,012. The population of Colorado’s Youthful Offender System on the same
